This standing balancing pose is also known as Powerful Chair Pose. It will test you, frustrate you, and strengthen you all at once.

AVOID THIS POSE IF YOU HAVE:

- An ankle injury

HELPFUL TIPS:

When you first start practicing this pose, do it with a wall behind you. It will help keep your back straight and instill good alignment. If you are already comfortable in the full pose, you can push it further by lifting up your heels and standing on your toes once you’re in the sitting position.
