Bhujapidasana

Bhujapidasana (otherwise known as “Arm Pressure Posture”), is an arm balancing asana which requires both balance and strength, while all body weight is supported by the palms. The illustration shows an entry transition into the full pose for advanced practitioners.

HELPFUL TIPS:
Before being able to get into the full pose (with the legs stretched out), you can try balancing on the hands with the legs wrapped around your upper arms while the feet are crossed in front of the torso. The pose becomes lighter and easier to hold once you squeeze the legs against the arms and into the midline.
